Waxing Preparation

There is no need to arrive makeup-free or worry about having oils, lotions, or other products on the skin. I will cleanse the area thoroughly before beginning your service.

Brazilian Waxing

For Brazilian waxing, hair should be approximately ¼ inch long (about the length of a grain of rice) so the wax can properly grip the hair.

Please do not shave or trim immediately before your appointment. If the hair is too short, the wax may not be able to remove it properly.

You may choose how much hair you would like removed and whether you would like to leave a specific shape or amount of hair. Please communicate your preference before or during your service.

You may still receive a Brazilian wax while on your period. For hygiene purposes, please wear a tampon or menstrual cup during your appointment.

Underarm & Facial Waxing

There is no specific hair-length requirement for these services. Please avoid shaving immediately before your appointment when possible so there is enough hair for the wax to grip.

For facial waxing, makeup is completely fine. I will cleanse the area before beginning your service.

Medications & Skin Sensitivity

Please inform me before your appointment if you are using medications or skincare products that may increase skin sensitivity or make your skin more susceptible to lifting during waxing.

This includes, but is not limited to, retinoids/retinol, tretinoin, Accutane/isotretinoin, prescription acne medications, exfoliating acids, or other strong active skincare products.

Waxing cannot be performed over skin that is sunburned, irritated, broken, peeling, or otherwise compromised.

Please also let me know if you have recently had a chemical peel, laser treatment, facial, or other skin treatment in the area being waxed.

If I determine that your skin is not suitable for waxing, I reserve the right to modify or refuse the service for your safety.

Brow Tinting

Makeup is completely fine for your appointment. I will cleanse the brows before applying the tint.

If you have previously experienced a reaction to brow tint, hair color, or similar products, please let me know before your appointment.

Tinting may need to be postponed if the skin around the brows is irritated, broken, sunburned, or otherwise compromised.

If you have a known sensitivity to tinting products, please let me know before your appointment so we can determine whether a patch test or alternative service is appropriate.

Aftercare

Some temporary redness, sensitivity, or small bumps may occur after waxing, especially in more sensitive areas. This is normal and should settle with time.

For the first 24 hours after waxing, avoid excessive heat, sweating, hot tubs, saunas, swimming, and activities that create significant friction on the waxed area.

Avoid harsh exfoliants, strong active skincare products, and heavily fragranced products on freshly waxed skin.

For Brazilian waxing, breathable clothing and minimizing friction immediately after your appointment can help keep the area comfortable.

Following proper aftercare will help minimize irritation and maintain your results.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policies

I completely understand that schedules change and unexpected things come up. These policies are in place to protect reserved appointment times and ensure that my limited availability remains fair to all clients.

Cancellation Policy

A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required to cancel an appointment.

• 24 or more hours before your appointment: You may cancel without a cancellation fee.

• Less than 24 hours' notice: A 50% charge of the scheduled service will apply.

• Same-day cancellation: A 100% charge of the scheduled service will apply.

• No-show: A 100% charge of the scheduled service will apply.

The cancellation fee is based on the amount of notice provided for that individual appointment.

Repeated cancellations, even when made more than 24 hours in advance, may be considered a pattern of frequent cancellations and may result in penalties or restrictions on future bookings. This may include requiring a non-refundable deposit for future appointments or limiting the ability to book future appointments.

Rescheduling Policy

Appointments may be rescheduled once per booking without penalty, provided the request is made more than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.

Appointment times are reserved exclusively for each client. While I understand that schedules can change, repeated rescheduling, even when more than 24 hours' notice is provided, can prevent other clients from booking those openings.

If a client develops a pattern of frequent rescheduling, a non-refundable deposit may be required for future appointments.

When a Deposit Is Required

• The deposit will be applied toward the total cost of the appointment when the client attends their scheduled appointment.

• If the appointment is cancelled or rescheduled after a deposit has been required, the deposit will be forfeited, even when more than 24 hours' notice is provided.

• A new deposit may be required to book another appointment.

A repeated pattern of rescheduling, cancellations, or missed appointments may result in limitations or restrictions on future bookings, including the possibility of declining future appointments.

New clients may be subject to this policy more strictly, as a consistent booking history has not yet been established.
